Job Description
Appedology Pvt. Ltd. Karachi is looking for a skilled and experienced Sr full stack developer who is comfortable with both front and back-end development. The candidate is responsible for developing and designing front-end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications along with taking care of the relational as well as non-relational database architecture and their implementation. Furthermore, the candidate should be able to collaborate and work closely with the UI / UX (design) team, the mobile application developer(s), and the SQA Engineer and be able to work with other software developers in order to participate and complete the projects/products. Following are the details of the position:
Responsibilities:
- Work with the development team and the technical managers to ideate software solutions
- Design client-side and server-side architecture
- Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Write effective APIs
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Write technical documentation
- Guide junior software developers and interns and avail support to them
Requirements and skills:
- At least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a relevant field
- 4 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role (e.g. Senior Web Developer, Senior Software Engineer)
- Hands-on experience in developing desktop and web applications
- Experience in multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap)
- Must have experience in MVC based latest back-end languages and technologies (PHP Laravel, CodeIgniter / Symphony) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js, Vue JS, etc)
- Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL) and web servers (e.g. Apache)
- Experience in API development and Postman
- Familiarity with CVS (GIT, BitBucket) and task management tools (JIRA, Trello, or Asana)
